Item Donation Terms - Rufi

1. About the Donation Feature

Rufi's donation feature allows users to offer pantry items (close to expiration or surplus) to other interested users, helping reduce food waste.

2. Donor Responsibilities

• Ensure the items are in suitable condition for consumption
• Correctly state the expiration date of the products
• Accurately describe the condition and quantity of the items
• Confirm the availability of the items before pickup
• Not offer products unfit for human consumption

3. Recipient Responsibilities

• Check the condition of the items at the time of pickup
• Confirm receipt within the agreed timeframe
• Respect the terms agreed with the donor

4. Shared Data

When making or accepting a donation, the following data is shared between the parties:

• Display name and profile photo (public)
• Approximate location (city/neighborhood — never the full address)
• Items made available for donation

Attention: The full address is NEVER shared automatically. Any exchange of contact information is the sole responsibility of the users.

5. Disclaimer

Rufi acts only as an intermediary platform. We are not responsible for:

• The quality or safety of donated items
• Damages resulting from consuming received items
• Conflicts between donor and recipient
• Pickup arrangements that do not take place

6. Prohibitions

It is expressly prohibited to:

• Offer items for commercial purposes (the platform is exclusively for free donations)
• Offer controlled substances, medicines or non-food products
• Use the feature to collect data from other users
